History

BINGO started out as a student level society in National University of Singapore promoting entrepreneurship and business networking. The founding of the society was initiated and founded by Mr. Lim Ching Zhu Anderson and co-founded by Mr. Leslie Goh, Mr. Philip Tan, Mr. Ng Chye Huat Samuel, Mr. Wilson Teo, Mr. Gary Lim and Mr. Usman Sheikh. The society was formally set up in year the 2002 with only 10 members consisting of students from National University of Singapore. The initial setting of the society was arduous due to various restriction set up by the University administration and without the assistance of Professor Chou Siaw Kiang and Dr John Arthur Bauly then it would be near impossible to form this society.

Our initial objectives were only to set up an international networking platform and to assist the TIP program of NUS Faculty of Engineering. The society slowly evolves to include assisting the less privilege to stand on their own feet through entrepreneurship and other social causes.

After several years of growth in Singapore, BINGO expanded its arm overseas in year 2005.
