The Guangzhou Conference for Youth Entrepreneurs 2006 was the first ever overseas BINGO conference. It was a joint collaboration between NUS BINGO and South China University of Technology Association of Career Development for Students (SCUT ACDS).

{mosimage} This grand event was held on the 14-th and 15-th of October 2006 and was graced by Professor Chou Siaw Kiang, Vice Dean for NUS Faculty of Engineering. The purpose of this conference is to bring together like minded students Singapore, Macau and mainland China for sharing and networking session. The event was successfully organized with about 100 participants from 12 universities.

During the 2 day conference, student leaders from various universities shared and presented their findings about the business environment in their respective cities. Games and networking dinners were organized to bond students across different nationalities and races.

The Guangzhou conference also marked the founding of BINGO’s very first and overseas chapter, BINGO Guangdong, on 15-th October 2006. Mr  Luo Yi Peng and Liang Hua Guo were appointed as the interim president and vice president respectively.
